Announcement: IET to close Campus Modem Pool

On Jan. 1, 2009, Information and Educational Technology phased out the campus dial-up network service (modem pool). This change is part of the 2008-2009 budget reductions.

Alternatives to the campus' modem pool service include the purchase of Internet services from commercial Internet Service Providers (ISPs), such as dial-up, DSL or cable modem services. Clients may also consider cellular mobile data cards offered by various cellular carriers that use cellular technology to connect to the Internet.
